How Cookies Work Here
Cookie notices are often the longest and least read part of a website. Ours can afford to be brief, because there is almost nothing to declare.
The one item we keep
When you click either button on the cookie banner, your browser saves a tiny note recording which one you chose. That is all. Here is what it looks like in practice:
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What is stored? | Your accept or decline choice from the banner |
| Where is it stored? | Inside your browser's local storage, which stays on your device |
| Is it sent to us? | No. It never leaves your browser |
| What is it for? | Stopping the banner from appearing on every page you open |
| How long does it last? | Until you clear your browser's site data |
Strictly speaking, this is not even a cookie, as local storage is not passed back to a server with each page request. We still mention it here because it is the only thing the site remembers about your visit.
What we do not use
- No advertising or remarketing cookies.
- No analytics, statistics or audience measurement tools.
- No social media buttons or embedded feeds that track you.
- No third-party fonts or image services that see your visit.
The share links that appear on some pages are ordinary links. Nothing is loaded from a social network until you click one and choose to go there.
Changing your mind
Since we do not set any optional cookies, accepting or declining makes no difference to what is collected; the choice simply hides the banner. If you would like the banner to appear again, clear the stored data for this website in your browser settings. In most browsers, this is under privacy or site settings, where you can remove data for a single site without affecting others. Using a private window has a similar effect, as nothing is kept once you close it.
If anything changes
If we ever add a feature that would store more, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can read more about how we handle information in general on our Data Protection page, and questions are welcome through Reach Us.
